Students who are freshly graduated or 12th pass can apply at TNDALU regular mode law courses like 3 years LLB degree, 5 year integrated LLB program and third one is LLM. For admission in any of these courses you need to fulfill a basic criteria for admission. 

For a 5 year Bachelor of Legislative Law degree course you need to pass your class 12th examination through a well known board of education with a minimum marks criteria of 50%. For 3 years integrated degree of LLB you need to complete a bachelor degree in any relevant field with passing marks around 45%. Online fee for application at Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University is INR 500 to INR 1,000.

TNDALU in 2026 academic session offer many postgraduate programs through their distance education mode system such as MCom, MBA. MA, MSc and MCA. Courses of PG through distance education at TNDALU in duration take time between 2-3 years. 

For eligibility of PG admission in TNDALU students need to complete an UG degree course with at least 45% grades or above for admission. The UG degree course should be pursued by a recognized university. PG distance education courses fees for Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University is INR 8,000 to INR 3.5 lakh.

TNDALU Distance Education Entrance Examination

• TNDALU’s distance education programs do not require passing entrance exams. Admission is determined based on merit, using the marks from the qualifying examination.
• For distance education programs, TNDALU does not hold a separate entrance exam. Instead, admissions are based on merit, calculated from the marks achieved in the qualifying exam.
• For LLM programs, the LLB marks are considered for ranking.
